          Antonin Dvorak's Biography

          Czech composer; a teacher and violinist. He wrote nine symphonies, highly noted for his “Slavonic Dances and Rhapsodies” as well as “The New World Symphony,” and was considered the major influence in introducing the concert form to Czech music.
          Dvorak died 1 May 1904, Prague, Czechoslovakia.
