          Armand Bour's Biography

          French stage and film actor, playwright and theatre director.
          He trained at the Théâtre-Libre of André Antoine.
          He founded the Theater Victor Hugo, which became the Trianon. In October 1902, he created the “Théâtre d’Art International” with Georges Lieussou, at the Théâtre d’Application, also called La Bodinière. In 1905, he organized performances of the “Théâtre des Poètes” at the Théâtre des Bouffes-Parisiens.
          He was married to the actress Gina Barbieri, who was a member of Jacques Copeau’s troupe.
          He died on 23 May 1945, aged 76, in Paris.
