          Eigil Hesstvedt's Biography

          Norwegian meteorologist and fencer who worked as a state meteorologist at the Oslo Airport, Fornebu, from 1949 to 1961. He was professor of meteorology at the University of Oslo from 1966.
          He won two gold, three silver, and seven bronze medals at the Norwegian championship in fencing with foil and Sabre between 1956 and 1969. He became Nordic Sabre champion in 1969.
          Hesstvedt died on 28 April 1979 in Oslo aged 58.
