          Félicie Erpelding-Schlesser's Biography

          Luxembourgish local politician representing the Social Democratic Party. From 1921 to 1928, Félicie Erpelding-Schlesser was the first female councilor in the Ettelbrück town council. From 1923 to 1928 she was a committee member of the parti ouvrier. She continued to be vice-president of the Fédération des conseillers communaux ouvriers.
          She married François Erpelding on 10 January 1905. She died on 6 January 1970 at age 86. A street in Ettelbrück was named after her in 2015 (rue Félicie Schlesser) and a bronze statue was erected in that street in November 2021.
