          Klaus Kinski's Biography

German actor famed for his wide-eyed, histrionic performances seen in hundreds of roles in movies which he chose for their commercial possibilities. 1988 (by George Biard) Unpredictable, rebellious, whimsical, he refused to work under such famous directors as Fellini, Pasolini or Visconti as “they don’t pay me enough.” He was the author of a highly readable and bigger-than-life autobiography, “Ich Brauche Liebe” (I Need Love), which is largely centered on his miserable youth, countless love affairs, his obsessive adoration of his son, Nanhoi, and unrelenting hatred of cops and film makers. He also fathered actress Nastassja Kinski.
Kinski was found dead of a heart attack at his Los Angeles home on 23 November 1991.
In January 2013, his oldest daughter Pola Kinski published an autobiography, where she reports about years of sexual abuse by her father, between the age of 5 and 19.
