          Lisa Marie Presley's Biography

American singer-songwriter and the only child of Elvis Presley and his former wife Priscilla. She was nine when her famous dad died. The sole heir to Presley’s millions, on her 25th birthday, in 1993, she assumed control of his estate which, under her mother’s guidance, was then worth some $100 million.
Raised with gaudy indulgence, she was rebellious and fighting with her mother by the time she was 14, a boy-crazy teenager trying out drugs. She went through a string of private schools and dropped out of school in the 11th grade.
She met Danny Keough at the Los Angeles Scientology center where they were both members. They married on 3 October 1988 when she was already four months pregnant with their daughter, Riley. Their second child, Benjamin, was born in October 1992.
Presley grew into a reclusive, private person with adult tastes that were more simple and traditional than her childhood might suggest. She breast-fed her babies and ate a basic California health-food diet. Actually quite level-headed, she began to attend the Presley Enterprises board meetings along with her mother.
She and Danny separated on 28 April 1994, announcing that they would “always love each other,” but were better friends than mates. They divorced on 6 May 1994.
Twenty days later, on 26 May 1994, at 9:30 AM in La Vega, Dominican Republic, she married superstar Michael Jackson in a modest ceremony performed by a local judge. Though they had been seen in public together for the prior six months as good pals, it was a major shock to the world with the marriage following closely on the heels of Jackson’s accusation of child molestation. Their fortunes were comparable, both topping out over $100 million. Presley and Jackson dissolved their marriage amicably the following year.
In 1999, she became a twosome with Hawaiian-born rock musician John Oszajca and they were engaged for 16 months. She met Nicolas Cage in October 2000 at a private party and they were seen chatting amiably. They went public with their romance in May 2001, two months after she broke up with Oszajca. They both enjoyed sailing along with their combined kids and divided their time between their Bel-Air homes.
Presley and Cage married in Hawaii on 10 August 2002, lasting nearly a full four months before Nic filed for divorce on 25 November 2002. Their divorce was finalized on 16 May 2004. The divorce proceeding lasted longer than the marriage.
Presley married for the fourth time in a traditional Japanese wedding, complete with wedding kimonos at a sunset ceremony on 22 January 2006 in Kyoto. The groom was Michael Lockwood. The couple welcomed twin girls, born by Caesarian on 7 October 2008 at 2:46 PM PDT; the place was not given. The twins were named Finley and Harper. On 13 June 2016, Presley filed for divorce from Lockwood after ten years of marriage.
Her son, Benjamin Keough, died on 12 July 2020 at the age of 27 in Calabasas, California of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office listed his cause of death as a suicide.
On 12 January 2023 Lisa Marie Presley suffered cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California. Presley’s heart was restarted after CPR was administered en route to a hospital. She died later that day at the age of 54, one month before her 55th birthday.
