          Marion Meyer Drew's Biography

          American professional astrologer and data collector, who wrote popular astrology columns for the New York World and Daily News (New York) newspapers in the 1940s. She met Franklin D. Roosevelt through her lawyer father, James G. Meyer, and she made forecasts for Roosevelt. One of her first columns, “What to Expect in 1921,” appeared in newspapers in January that year. She edited Your Astrology Magazine in the 1930s and she was the first editor of Horoscope magazine. Her books include 101 Headline Horoscopes (1941), 101 Health Horoscopes (1941) and 101 Hard to Find Horoscopes (1962).
          Marion Meyer Drew was married to astrologer Wynn. She died after a long illness at age 84 on 3 March 1974 at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie, new York.
