The concept of human design was created by Ra Uru Hu, or with the birth name Alan Robert Krakower, a Canadian man. This system provides a very detailed picture of how human energy is designed, and explains the uniqueness of us in making decisions to achieve what our life goals are.

By understanding the mechanics of human design, we can minimize expectations and projections, which allows us to see things as they really are. This will certainly bring convenience and remove obstacles from the path of life that we face.

As human design expert Nikki Brafman explains, this information is applied to human design charts, which represent a snapshot of the cosmos when we are born, even 3 months before when our brains develop in the womb.

Here are 5 types of human design:

1. Generators

These individuals are driven by the need to take action and are most fulfilled when they are able to work and contribute to the world. Generators are the most common type, accounting for over 30% to nearly 70% of the human population, when combined with the Manifesting Generators. Humans with this type are designed as hard workers and their strategy is to respond. While the challenges they face are easily frustrated because they are forced to continue to create their energy, this can make their energy run out easily, especially when they don’t know how to manage their energy.

2. Manifestors

These individuals have a strong sense of purpose and are able to bring their ideas into reality. They are independent and can initiate change. Manifestors make up less than 10% of the world’s population. This type is designed to initiate and then allow others to take over. They move from energy that follows from deep rest. This type has the energy to start new things and become a driving force for change in the lives of those around them and in their own lives. Their strategy is to inform others and their theme in life is finding peace as a place where their initiation can move freely. Their strategy is to be able to influence people so they can make changes easily. However, their weakness is not wanting to tell others what they think or what they are doing because they don’t want to be controlled. But according to Cornelius, when manifestors can combine their abilities to effect change without rejecting the opportunity to inform others, then that’s when they are most aligned.

3. Manifesting Generators

Manifesting Generators is a combination of Generators and Manifestors. The main difference from Generators is that they Manifesting Generators are versatile types of people, while Generaors tend to focus more on one area, namely having one area of expertise. This type uses responses to guide them, but on the other hand they are also designed to be inspirational pioneers like like the Manifestor. The weakness of this type combines the strengths of Generators and Manifestors so that the weaknesses of both can affect each other in this type. Their weakness may be when they don’t tell others what’s going on with them. Overall, this type likes variety and tends to be dissatisfied without constant change and evaluation.

4. Projectors

Projectors are the 20% of the world’s population who offer wisdom and guidance around the world. This type is able to guide the use of other people’s energy, so they have a role to see other people and are able to provide advice because they are able to analyze patterns around them and are able to see the world in a unique way so that it attracts people around them. They let other people come to them so the exchange of energies is easy and harmonious instead of being resisting or forced. These individuals have a natural ability to see the bigger picture and can help guide others to achieve their goals. However, Projectors can run into problems when others become frustrated with unsolicited advice. Projectors move in waiting for recognition and improve themselves through things so they can understand things too. Stiles also notes that Projectors are “non-energy” creatures in that they don’t create consistent energy so it’s important for them to work efficiently and work less than other people.

5. Reflectors

Reflectors are the rarest type because their number is less than 1% of the world’s population. This type is so empathetic that they act like a sponge for everyone around them. This type does not have consistent energy, but can rely on himself by simply reflecting the energy in his environment. Reflectors act as mirrors where they are very open, understanding, and able to heal others. These individuals take time to process and reflect on experiences before making decisions. They are sensitive and introspective and often have deep insights into the world around them. However, they take longer to find clarity in making their own life decisions, as they are constantly picking up on the ideas, thoughts, feelings, and emotions of others around them, so one of their strategies is to be patient.

Human Design also includes other classifications, such as Centers (which describe how a person processes information and makes decisions), Profile (which describes a person’s overall approach to life), and Strategy (which outlines a person’s unique path to fulfillment).

It’s important to note that Human Design is not a scientifically recognized system and its claims have not been backed by scientific evidence. It is intended to be used as a tool for self-discovery and personal growth, and should not be used to make important decisions or to diagnose or treat medical conditions.
