Why We Moved From Report Credits to Usage Balance

Over the last few years, HumanDesign.ai has grown from a single experiment into a much larger AI platform. Reports, chat, regenerations, and content tools all rely on powerful language models behind the scenes. To keep improving the experience, we’ve been quietly upgrading what those models can do.

We’ve added new models to the report generation process under the Advanced section, delivering better reports, better translations, and deeper chart insights. We’ve also added an Advanced model to Chat, which gives you much more detailed and nuanced responses about your Human Design. And we’re not stopping there: we’re building new tools on top of these models and will keep rolling them out.

None of that comes free. Premium AI models are genuinely expensive to run, and the honest truth is that our old flat credit system was not sustainable at the level of quality we want to deliver. Rather than quietly capping what we could offer or raising membership fees across the board, we made a structural change instead.

Our values haven’t changed

We don’t like adding extra costs to our members. We want this platform to be accessible and to keep getting better. Finding the balance between those two things is what led us here. A few things that will never change: we never sell your data, we always protect your privacy, and we hold ourselves to a high standard in how we run the platform. Sustainability means keeping the lights on honestly, not compromising the trust you’ve placed in us.

What changed

We replaced legacy report credits with a shared AI credits balance. Instead of a fixed number of report credits, your balance now reflects actual AI usage across all tools.

Pro members receive US$25 per month of included AI credits. That covers reports, chat, regenerations, and content tools. Many report flows are now cheaper than before because pricing reflects real usage rather than a flat-pack credit.
Personal members receive US$5 per month of included AI credits, plus full access to the platform. Personal members can add carryover balance to extend their usage.

Our public membership pricing remains intentionally accessible:

Pro yearly: US$197
Pro monthly: US$35
Personal yearly: US$77
Personal monthly: US$8.88

ChatGPT 5.2 and Grok

Pro members can continue using ChatGPT 5.2 free of charge for the next 3 months. After that, it will draw from your monthly AI credit balance. For most members, day-to-day usage will look the same and there will be no extra costs. Heavy users may occasionally top up; it will always be at fair, transparent pricing.

Grok (Auto) stays completely free for everyone.

Why this is fairer

This model means light and moderate users are well covered without subsidising the heaviest AI usage. If you use the platform occasionally, your balance goes further. If you use the premium tools heavily, you can continue by topping up or enabling auto-reload.

How Pro works now

Pro members receive US$25 per month of included AI usage. That monthly allowance is used first. If you want to go beyond it, you can add carryover balance manually or enable auto-reload on your saved payment method.

How Personal works now

Personal members receive US$5 per month of included AI credits and full access to the platform. If you want to go beyond that, you can add carryover balance or enable auto-reload.

What happened to old report credits

Legacy report credits were not discarded. They were converted into the new balance model, so existing value moved into carryover balance. You can keep using what you already had.

No surprise billing

We are not creating hidden postpaid charges. Paid usage continues only if you have balance available or if you have chosen to enable auto-reload. You stay in control of what you spend.
