IHDS Certification: How to Get Verified and What It Unlocks
If you are certified by the International Human Design School (IHDS), you can upload your certificate to HumanDesign.ai and receive an IHDS Certified badge on your profile. This article explains how the process works and how to make the most of it.
What Is IHDS Certification?
IHDS (International Human Design School) is one of the main organizations that
trains and certifies Human Design analysts and professionals. If you have completed
official IHDS training and hold a certificate, you can have that status reflected
on your Professional Profile inside HumanDesign.ai.
The platform does not provide IHDS training itself; instead, it verifies that you
have an authentic IHDS certificate.
Who Can Apply for IHDS Verification?
To apply for IHDS verification on HumanDesign.ai, you typically need:
- An active Pro plan.
- A reasonably complete Professional Profile (languages, availability, etc.).
- A valid IHDS certificate as a PDF or image (JPG/PNG).
How to Submit Your IHDS Certificate
- Go to your main Profile page while logged in.
- Open Professional Settings (for example via a “Professional Settings” button).
- Scroll to the IHDS Certification section.
- Review your current status:
- Not Applied – no certificate on file yet.
- Pending Review – certificate submitted, waiting for admin approval.
- Approved – verified; badge is active.
- Denied – last submission was not approved.
- Click the button to Upload Certificate or Choose File.
- Select your IHDS certificate file (PDF, JPG, or PNG, within the size limit—typically under 10MB).
- Confirm the upload.
After a successful upload:
- The certificate is stored securely in the platform’s file storage.
- Your professional profile record is updated to:
- Store the certificate file URL.
- Set IHDS certification status = “pending”.
- Record a submission date.
- You will see a “Pending Review” status and message.
Admin Review & Approval Process
The HumanDesign.ai team reviews IHDS submissions through an internal
Admin Dashboard:
- They see your name, email, and the certificate file you uploaded.
- They verify that the certificate appears to be valid IHDS documentation.
- They can then approve or deny the submission.
If approved:
- Your status is set to “approved”.
- An IHDS Certified badge appears on your Professional Profile card.
- You receive an in‑app notification (for example “Your IHDS certification has been approved!”).
If denied:
- Your status is set to “denied”.
- No badge is shown.
- You receive a notification indicating that the submission was not approved, often with
a suggestion to ensure a valid certificate is uploaded.
You can usually resubmit with a corrected or clearer file if your initial attempt was denied.
How the IHDS Badge Appears on Your Profile
Once approved:
- Your Professional Profile shows a clearly marked IHDS Certified section,
often with a shield icon and “Verified Professional” label. - Visitors to your profile can see at a glance that you have official IHDS training.
- The Professionals directory offers a filter like “IHDS Certified Only”,
which will include you in results if your certification is approved.
Why IHDS Verification Matters
- Trust & credibility: Clients can see that you have formal training.
- Differentiation: Among many Human Design readers, the badge signals a certain level of rigor.
- Filtering: Some clients will explicitly search for IHDS‑certified professionals using directory filters.
Best Practices for IHDS‑Certified Pros
- Upload a clear, legible copy of your certificate (no partial or unreadable scans).
- Keep your Professional Profile complete and up to date so the badge is seen in context.
- Consider mentioning IHDS training in your bio and experience entries as well.
- For client‑facing materials (reports, website, etc.), be transparent about what your certification covers.
Combined with your Professional Profile, testimonials, and specialties, IHDS verification
can significantly strengthen your presence on HumanDesign.ai and help you attract aligned clients.
