Reading, Editing, and Regenerating Your AI Human Design Report
After a report is generated, you can read it, edit it, and regenerate sections when needed. Regeneration now uses the same shared usage balance as the initial report.
What you see on a finished report
- the report title and status
- section-by-section content
- generation metadata for completed sections
Section metadata
Completed sections can show the model used for that section, the dollar cost, and the token usage. This makes it easier to understand both the output and the billing behind it.
Editing a report
You can make manual edits after generation without changing the original billing history.
Regenerating a section
When you regenerate a section, you can choose a different model for that specific section. That means mixed-model reports are possible. A regenerated section may sound different from the original if you choose a different model.
How regeneration is billed
Successful regeneration spends from usage balance. Actual billing reflects the model used and the generation work completed for that section.
If you run out of balance
Open the Usage page to add more carryover balance or enable auto-reload. For more background, see How the Usage page works and Why we moved from report credits to usage balance.
