How Bella’s Memory Works
Bella is designed with memory functionality to provide coherent, personalised conversations over time. She remembers context from your interactions to give better answers.
Within a Session
Bella remembers the full flow of the current session. She links previous questions and answers to provide relevant follow-ups. You do not need to repeat yourself within the same session.
Across Sessions
Bella has long-term memory that persists across sessions. She can recall:
- Key facts you have shared about yourself (career, relationships, goals).
- Your chart interpretation preferences.
- Previous insights and discussions from past sessions.
Chart Context
The Chart Context feature lets you set persistent notes, relationship details, and perspective (1st or 3rd person) for each chart. This context is always available to Bella and does not expire.
Memory and Privacy
- Bella’s memory is tied to your account and is never shared with other users.
- Deleting a session removes those messages but does not erase Bella’s long-term memory.
- You can reset Bella’s memory from the settings if you want a fresh start.
Tips for Best Results
- Share relevant personal context so Bella can give more tailored advice.
- Use the Chart Context feature for persistent background information.
- Keep conversations focused within sessions — start a new session for a different topic.
Note: Cross-session memory is available on Personal and Pro plans. Free users have memory within the current session only.
