How to Control Who Can Message You

Overview

HumanDesign.ai’s messaging system lets you communicate directly with other users. You can control who is able to send you messages through your privacy settings.

Messaging Features

• Conversation Filters – Switch between Active, Archived, and All conversations using the filter tabs.
• User Search – Start a new conversation by searching for any user on the platform.
• Auto-Read – Conversations are automatically marked as read when you open them.
• Direct Links – Access a specific conversation via URL by appending ?conversation=ID.

Privacy Controls

To manage who can message you:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Navigate to the Privacy or Notifications tab.
3. Look for the Messaging section.
4. Choose who can message you (Everyone, Connections Only, or Nobody).

Archiving Conversations

If you want to clean up your message list without deleting conversations:

1. Open the conversation you want to archive.
2. Click the archive option.
3. The conversation moves to the Archived tab.
4. You can view and unarchive it at any time.
